Advantech's ADAM-5000-based pollution source monitoring system

Project Introduction:
In industrialized communities, environmental protection has become a very important topic. In 2007, China promulgated environmental protection regulations to limit atmospheric emissions, control pollution sources and improve pollution monitoring standards. This regulation requires that each power plant and factory must be strictly controlled at a high level, which will directly greatly increase the demand for Advantech's ADAM-5000 products.
system requirement:
The management methods issued by the Chinese environmental protection authority, namely CEMS and CEMS, represent the continuous management of pollutant monitoring systems. The CEMS system will use advanced and reliable technology to monitor and transmit data to monitor emission gases and discharge capacity through optical measurement and industrial Ethernet communication.
In these investments, the CEMS system is designed to obtain and manage real-time data. For example, emissions from the production of thermal power stations, thermoelectric power stations, incinerators, and industrial kilns are released.
Project implementation:

system framework:

System specification:
CEMS applies to all continuous emission monitoring systems. It includes real-time monitoring of exhaust emissions and emission capacity, and transmits data to an environmental protection department central site. The CEMS project applies to all Advantech products, such as embedded industrial computers (UNO) and Industrial Ethernet module (ADAM-5000). The professional fanless and anti-vibration design ensures stable operation in harsh industrial environments. MTBF reaches 60,000 hours, which greatly saves maintenance costs.
Gas analyzers, dust analyzers and data acquisition processors are the three main components of CEMS. They use real-time continuous monitoring of the concentration of major pollutants such as dust, SO2, and Nox in industrial boilers, industrial kilns and electrical boilers. They provide gas temperature, pressure, flow, and O2. The system automatically collects data through the Internet and transmits data to the central station and the environmental protection section. Staff can also obtain real-time data and reports through the Internet, which ensures that relevant departments are fully aware of pollution emission control projects and acid rain monitoring projects and provide methods for monitoring pollutants.
to sum up:
The data acquisition processor collects information on gas temperature parameters, pressure, flow, and O2 volume. At the same time, some digital I/O and automatic data processing are required. For customers who need to collect more simulation data, they have larger memory and have more COMM ports to connect with gas analyzers and dust analyzers.
And, Advantech provides customers with convenient, compatible and time-saving solutions. Advantech helps customers complete one-stop services rather than extensive outsourcing. Compatibility is not a problem between software products-hardware products, software products-software products, and hardware products-hardware products, and can already be integrated between different product brands.
