The General Administration of Anti-Dumping of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation of compact fluorescent lamps (CompactFluorescent Lamps) originating in or imported from China, Vietnam and Sri Lanka on March 12.
The preliminary ruling proposed a temporary anti-dumping duty on Chinese products:
For the 11-20 watt finished lamp without the control device (choke) of Philips Yaming Lighting Co., Ltd., Rs. 43.12/piece, and the finished lamps of 10 watts, 11-20 watts and 21-26 watts with control devices are levied 54.67 rupees respectively. / piece, Rs 61.17 / piece and Rs 88.52 / piece;
For Osram (China) Lighting Co., Ltd., the lamps below 10 watts and 11-20 watts with control devices are priced at Rs 58.07/piece and Rs 66.96/piece, respectively;
For other Chinese companies, the burners of 10 watts, 11-20 watts and 21-26 watts are charged Rs 17.83 rupees/piece, 19.56 rupees/piece and 20.95 rupees/piece, respectively, without the control device below 10 watts, 11 -20 watts and 21-26 watt finished lamps are priced at Rs 21.61/piece, 22.82 rupees/piece and 23.84 rupees/piece, respectively, with a control unit of less than 10 watts, 11-20 watts and 21-26 watt finished lamps, respectively, levying 58.86 rupees / piece, 60.77 rupees / piece and 88.37 rupees / piece.
Among the four responding companies, Philips Yaming Lighting Co., Ltd. and Osram (China) Lighting Co., Ltd. were treated as market economy status. This is the first anti-dumping case of my company that has been granted market economy status in India since 2005.
