The mainland LED industry is currently the main means of technology introduction and digestion, and the "stable process" is a more important issue than technology. Many emerging companies explain the contradiction between what they call high technology and actual low output for such reasons: “Our technology is advanced, but it needs further stability.†And many relatively mature companies are facing When the city tastes brands and other issues, the core issues are often "stability" issues rather than technical issues.
Many times we are not willing to face up to our own gaps, always emphasizing what level of technology we have reached and how close we are to the international leading level. But in fact, we know that the first bright blue LED chip was introduced in 1993, and the ability to form a mass supply market is five years later. We also know that similar imitation technology and imported technology, in the enterprise, the technical success may only take 3 months or even shorter, but the process matures and takes 3 years or more. This is also the most fundamental reason why mainland companies have introduced so many overseas “technical teams†and “technical elites†in recent years, but they cannot achieve a successful enterprise. There are often “technical elites†in the enterprise but no “technical elitesâ€. Successful business operations rely more on process teams than on individual technology elites.
With the widening of LED application fields, the application of integrated circuit technology is getting deeper and deeper, but there is also a considerable gap between China's mainland integrated circuit technology and industrial base, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. One of the most important reasons why the Korean LED industry can be a latecomer in recent years. In the follow-up development, how to minimize the adverse impact of development caused by the double gap between the LED industry and the integrated circuit industry in developed countries and regions is a serious challenge to the mainland LED industry, and it needs to be given at the government level.
