[High-tech LED News] AIXTRON, a German MOCVD equipment factory, announced that it has received four orders for CRIUS II from China's Jiangsu Yangyang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., and has produced MOX equipment for 55×2 inch LED epitaxial wafers.
AIXTRON means that the company is currently transitioning from its existing CRIUS MOCVD equipment to AIXTRON's next-generation MOCVD equipment, all of which will be used to produce high-brightness blue LEDs. AIXTRON has also indicated that it will support the technical support team to help install and debug CRIUS II MOCVD equipment.
Haoyang Optoelectronics ordered multiple Aixtron HB-GaN MOCVD equipment in April 2010 and plans to implement 50 MOCVD equipment within two years.
