It is capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including household assistance, child companionship, and educational support.
Equipped with cutting-edge obstacle avoidance technology that combines ultrasonic sensors, infrared detection, and 3D depth sensing, "Xiaobu" can follow users automatically and even be programmed to do so. The robot is tailored for three key scenarios: "smart LOVE +, happy LOVE +, and growing LOVE +," focusing primarily on elderly care, entertainment, and child interaction.
In terms of elder care, "Xiaobu" offers intelligent following capabilities and scheduled video tours. In case of an emergency, such as a fall, simply saying "Help" will instantly send an alert to the children's mobile phones, ensuring quick response and peace of mind for families.
For entertainment, "Xiaobu" integrates Tencent Cloud's micro-opening platform, allowing it to support voice interaction and access a variety of content from QQ Music, Tencent Video, and Penguin FM. It also provides numerous skill-based functions to enhance user experience and engagement.
When it comes to child companionship, Asustek has collaborated with New Oriental’s educational brand, Cool Dona, to offer interactive learning experiences. "Xiaobu" can tell stories, play games, teach English, and even allow kids to explore Scratch programming. Additionally, it supports dance music and text-based activities, making it a versatile tool for both fun and learning.
This smart robot represents a significant step forward in home automation, combining practicality with emotional connection. With its advanced features and seamless integration with Tencent services, "Xiaobu" is set to redefine how families interact with technology in their daily lives.
