How to prevent the pump motor from being burned during operation? Dalan Motor has a secret!

In modern industrial production, oil pump motors are widely used. However, motor burnout remains a significant issue, often leading to costly downtime and safety hazards. To minimize such incidents and enhance motor efficiency, it's essential to understand and implement proper maintenance practices. This article provides a detailed guide to help reduce the risk of motor failure and ensure long-term performance. First, maintaining a clean environment around the motor is crucial. The air inlet must remain free from dust, moisture, and oil. Any foreign particles within 3 meters of the intake can be drawn into the motor, causing insulation damage and short circuits. This leads to increased current, overheating, and ultimately, motor failure. Regular cleaning and ensuring good ventilation will help maintain safe operating conditions and extend the motor’s lifespan. Second, always operate the motor at its rated current. Overloading is a common cause of motor burnout, often due to excessive load, low voltage, or mechanical jams. When overloaded, the motor slows down, current rises, and temperature increases, which can degrade the insulation and lead to a fire. Monitoring the transmission system for smooth operation and adjusting belt tightness, coupling alignment, and gear flexibility regularly can prevent such issues. Third, ensure that the three-phase currents are balanced. For a three-phase asynchronous motor, the difference between any phase current and the average of the other two should not exceed 10%. Imbalanced currents indicate potential faults that need immediate attention. Ignoring this can result in further damage and motor failure. Fourth, monitor the motor’s temperature carefully. Excessive heat can severely damage the motor’s components. Check the temperature of bearings, stators, and housings regularly. If the bearing temperature rises abnormally, inspect for wear, lack of lubrication, or misalignment. Replacing faulty bearings promptly is essential to avoid more serious damage. Fifth, pay attention to vibration, noise, and unusual smells. Unusual vibrations can increase load on connected equipment, leading to higher current draw and overheating. Ensure all mounting bolts, end caps, and gland seals are secure. Strange noises or odors may signal internal problems that require immediate investigation. Lastly, ensure that the starting equipment is in good working condition. Faulty starters, such as those with missing phases or poor contactor performance, can lead to motor damage during startup. Regular maintenance includes cleaning contacts, tightening screws, and checking for rust or dirt on coil cores. Properly maintained control systems ensure smooth starts and prevent unnecessary stress on the motor. By following these guidelines, you can significantly reduce the likelihood of motor failures and improve overall operational efficiency. Always refer to manufacturer recommendations and consult professionals when necessary. Editor: Dalan Oil Pump Motor - Procurement Consultant Copyright © Dalan Motor. Please cite the source.

Countdown Timer

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Countdown socket has an AC outlet, the maximum can output 230 V16A of power, there are two control modes, that is, countdown off and countdown on. It is convenient to control the equipment which needs to switch off or turn on AC. improve the safety of the use of some equipment and save more energy.

SET Timer

1,Countdown plug in the socket, all indicator lights red flash three times, at this time the socket has no output, for the normal state, into the countdown state. Click the button, the first red light up, the socket output after an hour off, and then short press the button can set the socket timing of 2 H.4H.6H.8H.10H.OFF.

2,Long press button 3s, all indicator lights green flash three times, at this time the socket has output, for the regular open state, into the countdown on state. Click on the button, the first green light on, the socket is closed an hour later, and then press the button to set the socket countdown 2 H.4H.6H.8H.10H.OFF.

3,Press button 3 longer S, all indicator lights red light flash 3 times again into countdown mode.

4,Select the required countdown time mode, the corresponding mode countdown lights up, start countdown until the end of the countdown time. The outlet that controls the output will start or stop the output.

5,After the countdown starts, the time indicator will change automatically from high to low until the countdown is over.
