ISO21118 projector brightness standard profile:

The Chinese name of ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is the International Organization for Standardization. ISO is an organization established to achieve international standardization. ISO members are international organizations that develop international standards through the exchange of technical activities. ISO/IEC 21118:2005(E) specifies various standards for projectors, including projector brightness detection standards, technical terminology standards, noise measurements, etc...

With the increase in sales of Japanese projector brands in the world, especially the high share of the Chinese market, and the extreme non-standardization of the “ANSI” standard for various manufacturers, in January 2006, Japan established a projector. The Manufacturers Association unanimously requested the adoption of the "ISO" standard for new calibrations, which led to the birth of a new measurement standard, the "ISO" standard.

The ISO21118 standard is also currently the most widely used projector brightness standard is ANSI (American National Standards Institute is the meaning of the American National Standardization Institute). Since early projectors were mainly produced in the United States and Europe, such as 3M, BARCO, etc., while Japan was only their production base, early projectors were measured using the American "ANSI" standard. Over time, People have gradually become accustomed to this nominal method. At present, most of them use ANSI standards.
