Packaging and accessories

The overall design style of the MX780 is full of technical sense, with removable side wing design and elevating palm rest design, belonging to a light modular design. The MX780's roller has a side light transmission design with black rubber on the surface. The middle part of the wheel is easily indented to facilitate finger positioning. The transition is soft when scrolling, but the scroll wheel buttons are stiff and feel not very good. Due to the lack of scale on the surface of the rubber, when the sweat on the hand rolls quickly, it will be easier to slip. In particular, it is necessary to mention that the DPI switch button behind the scroll wheel is relatively easy to use due to its proximity to the scroll wheel. MX780 uses Avago A9800 engine, there are five adjustable DPI, adjustment range is 100-9800, the minimum adjustment unit is 100DPI, can be set through the drive, the default DPI gear is 800/1600/2400/4800/8200DPI . When switching gears, all the lights will be lit according to the order of the gears, which are white, red, green, blue, and yellow.
A large area of ​​the MX780 chassis uses a metal panel of aluminum alloy and a wire drawing process. The optical head is located at the back of the mouse. There are a total of 5 Teflon pads at the bottom, and there is also a foot sticker on the flank with finger rests. In addition, there is a palm rest height adjustment hole at the tail.

In terms of wire rods, the MX780 uses a black nylon braided wire with a wire length of approximately 180 cm and a diameter of approximately 3.5 mm. The wire is relatively soft. The USB connector is gold-plated and does not have a shield ring.
Hidden weights
At first I removed all the visible screws, but I still could not open the mouse. After looking at the person's post, the bottom metal panel is peeled off and there will be hidden screw holes. However, if the operation is careless, it will cause the metal panel to be deformed and cannot be restored. I gave up the dismantling. A friend told me that there was a hidden counterweight in the palm rest and I was taken out. Little effort is no way.

Customization is to set key functions. All 8 buttons are programmable, and the scroll wheel slides up and down to set two functions.
Setting is to set mouse performance parameters. Including refresh rate, DPI, double-click speed, Windows pointer speed, scroll wheel speed and silent height, can be set according to the usual usage habits.
Lights are setting lights. Including light mode settings, color settings. “Backlight†is the constant light mode; “effect light†is the breathing mode; “lighting and system synchronization†is to set whether the mouse continues to glow after the computer is turned off, and if it is not checked, it will still glow after being turned off, and Breath or gradient effect.
Macros are divided into "macro" and "text". "Macro" is the function of recording macro keys; "text" is actually the same as "macro" function. Input a text, assign this function of recording to a key, and then click this key to quickly record the recorded text.

Touch experience
MX780 this mouse, the size of the data looked relatively large, but the author's hand grasping 17cm is not too difficult, after adjusting the palm rest, the palm of the hand is held back and become a forced grip feeling. Daily office use, or play League of Legends, and Call of Duty FPS games, performance is quite satisfactory.
