Perhaps the next generation of the Galaxy Tab will satisfy both the president and the average user. It is now reported that the second-generation Galaxy Tab tablet has entered the development phase and will use Samsung’s own Orion’s dual-core processor.

Orion is a dual-core mobile processor product Samsung announced in September this year, using Samsung's 45nm low-power process technology, built-in two 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor cores, each core has 32KB data cache and 32KB instruction cache, The chipset also comes with 1MB of secondary cache to optimize processing performance and provide faster multitasking switching speeds.

The processor also integrates a new hardware accelerator, including an encoder/decoder that supports recording and playback of 1080P 30fps HD video. The enhanced Mali 400 GPU graphics processing unit provides 5X higher 3D graphics performance than a Hummingbird processor.
