Within just three years, the team not only advanced the technology but also commercialized it, launching the world’s first mass-produced smartwatch with virtual touch capabilities. Moreover, through extensive AI training, ViBand can recognize different actions, including gender and even skin tone—something truly unique globally. It is expected that Digital Technology will present its research at the 2018 World Conference on Human-Computer Interaction. Some features, like skin-sliding touch operations, are already being explored.
