LeTV TV X65: Install Sofa Butler via USB Drive
[Installation Guide]
1. Download the Sofa Butler Installation File
2. Connect the USB Drive to the TV
3. Access the File Management on the TV
4. Read the Files from the USB Drive
5. Complete the Installation
Step 1: First, visit the official Sofa Butler website to download the installation package. The download links are available at http://... for versions V4 and V5.
Step 2: Copy the downloaded file to a USB drive. Insert the USB into your LeTV TV, but don’t open the file manager just yet.
Step 3: Navigate to the "Settings" menu and choose "System Settings."
Step 4: Go to the "General" section and click to enter it.
Step 5: Locate the "Safe" menu and enable the "Unknown Source Applications" option. This allows you to install apps from outside the official store.
Once enabled, the TV will show a confirmation screen.
Step 6: Return to the home screen and open "File Management." Select the "Storage Device" option.
Step 7: Choose "External Storage" to access the files on your USB drive.
Step 8: Open the Sofa Butler installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
After the installation is successful, you can start using the Sofa Butler app market to download various live and on-demand streaming applications.
If your TV is unable to read the USB drive, try formatting the USB to FAT32 (make sure to back up any data first). You can also try using a different USB drive.
If the installation fails, restart your TV and repeat the steps. This often resolves issues.
For a better smart TV experience, consider using a TV box or an HDMI stick for streaming. For live TV, we recommend HDP. For more content, use the TV versions of Tencent Video, Youku, or other platforms.
