MAX11503 is a low-power video amplifier with Y / C adder and chroma signal inhibit. The device accepts S terminal input or Y / C signal, and superimposes with luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) signals to generate a composite CVBS signal, which can be directly connected to a TV display. The MAX11503 can drive two 75Ω terminated video coaxial cables.
The MAX11503 has features such as chroma signal prohibition, low power consumption, and SAG correction. The chroma inhibit function is used to close the chroma buffer. If the device is used to composite Y and C signals, turning off the chroma signal will help improve the lighting effect in low light conditions. This will eliminate all chrominance signals, including burst mode, so that the video signal of the downstream composite video decoder only has brightness information, which is conducive to improving image quality. SAG correction allows small output capacitors to be used when AC coupled outputs.
The MAX11503 operates from a single 2.7V to 5.25V power supply, operates over an extended temperature range: -40 ° C to + 85 ° C, and comes in a compact 8-pin µMAX® package.
