Philips and Osram sign LED light source patent license agreement

[High-tech LED News] It is reported that Philips and Osram have signed a patent license agreement for the use of LED technology in light sources. Osram said the agreement will further promote the LED lighting market. Philips pointed out that the agreement is another step based on the widespread use of intellectual property rights in LEDs owned by Philips to accelerate market development.

It is understood that Philips has announced a patent licensing plan for LED light sources. According to the plan, Philips customers are entitled to no longer paying royalties on the purchase of LED light source components within the scope of all patent licenses from Philips. Now that OSRAM has obtained a patent license from Philips, OSRAM customers will receive the same benefits. That is, LED light source manufacturers do not have to pay patent tax to Philips when they purchase key components from OSRAM. Osram said that these special powers involved not only patents held by Philips, but also patents held by CK (ColorKinetics) and TIR (TIRSystems) that Philips had acquired last year.

It adopts high-quality battery monomers grouped and screened and designed by special mechanical structure to assemble all ranges of built-in BMS batteries.

Voltage levels: 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 96V, 110V, 220V, 330V, 380V, 440V, 600V.

Rated battery volumes: 10 ~ 2000Ah.

Battery types: lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA), high rate Nickel Cadmium Battery, nickel-hydrogen power, silver zinc battery and so on.

Main functions of BMS: capacity forecast, over current, over voltage, over charge, over discharge, over-temperature protection, single voltage balance, abnormal alarm, CAN-BUS communication, programmable parameters.
