In 2003, the US Department of Energy proposed the Smart Grid 2030 program and proposed to upgrade the Smart Grid to the US national strategy in 2009. As the core part of smart grid information perception, the Internet of Things has a very broad prospect in smart grid applications. In May 2009, the State Grid Corporation of China clearly proposed to build a smart grid with informationization, automation and interaction. It is planned to build a unified and strong security smart grid system by 2020. At present, a construction plan of 300 billion yuan has been launched, and a series of application engineering projects have been implemented. By introducing the Internet of Things technology in the smart grid, it is possible to perceive external factors related to the grid, and build a monitoring network of the sensor network to monitor and respond to the factors affecting the operation of the substation.

Sensing Group's intelligent substation solution was proposed during the tide of the Internet of Things, and a company was set up to be responsible for the project of intelligent substation. Now it has developed a series of solutions for power generation, transmission and electricity. At present, there are intelligent auxiliary management platforms for products in the field of sensing group power grids. Products with variable point links include substation equipment, sensors for water temperature and gas temperature, sensors for protection against theft in transmission links, intelligent pioneers for power consumption, and some solutions. The monitoring and auxiliary system of the intelligent substation mainly collects relevant information of the substation based on the IEC61850 protocol, and conducts early warning, processing and feedback in the digital emergency control center. The main components of the substation include intelligent management, online monitoring of critical equipment, lightning arresters, current monitoring, power environment monitoring and video surveillance. The intelligent substation system has an intelligent management software platform. After analyzing the information collected from the substation, the platform helps the monitoring personnel to monitor the status of the station and provide timely and reliable monitoring and support capabilities. In addition, an ultra-low-power wireless sensor network is deployed to reduce the power consumption of sensors such as temperature and humidity sensors that do not require battery replacement. There are also video surveillance and anti-intrusion systems, multi-sensor collaboration and perceptual linkage anti-intrusion systems. The first is the temperature sensor temperature online monitoring system, which is based on the self-developed temperature sensor to monitor the temperature status information of the grid online, and then to the control host and finally to the emergency control platform.

Heating and ventilation subsystem. Due to the high temperature and humidity requirements of the power station equipment, we have developed a heating and ventilation subsystem that combines the temperature and humidity sensors to monitor the temperature and humidity of the equipment and the environment, and provides automatic control of the operation of the ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Video surveillance and security guard subsystem. Mainly for video surveillance around the power station and the use of vibration sensor anti-intrusion equipment to achieve security protection. The sub-system of intelligent inspection and certification ensures the inspection quality of the inspectors through image monitoring and intelligent image recognition. Anti-missing interval subsystem, some image sensors are deployed in some work areas, and intelligent image recognition is used to prevent people from entering the prohibited area.

Leak online monitoring subsystem. This subsystem consists of monitoring nodes, controllers, and collaborative sensing monitoring platforms, mainly to detect gas leaks from power stations.

The gas warm water monitoring subsystem is mainly used to monitor gas and water leakage.

The timely water monitoring subsystem is mainly to monitor the water level of the transformer, real-time data acquisition and alarm.

The transformer has a chromatographic online detection subsystem that analyzes the transformer four-phase chromatography through a smart sensor.

Online detection subsystem for wireless arresters. The system consists of a host and backbone node, a wireless voltage sensor node, and a wireless arrester leakage current sensor. After deployment, the lightning arrester can be monitored in real time to prevent the arrester from malfunctioning.

The wireless sensor data transmission base station is a transmission base station that collects relevant sensing information by wireless means, and collects the collected information to the data center through 2.4G or S485 after collection.

Product and application solutions for the transmission sector. A series of sensors, such as anti-theft bolts and buried vibration sensors, have been developed to prevent problems such as theft of transmission tower bolts, tilting of transmission towers and contact of unknown objects with the transmission circuit during transmission.

The tilt sensor can recognize a tilt of one millimeter. If a 50 meter high transmission tower is tilted, it can be detected by this sensor and sent to the relevant department. From the comparison between the picture and the dime, we can see that the device is very small, and now these devices have been deployed to Wuxi's transmission system.

Anti-theft bolts. The bolts on the transmission tower are prone to cause the tower to fall after being stolen, so the safety of the bolts is very important. The intelligent anti-theft bolt device we developed has anti-theft function. The device can detect the activity of people within the range of ten to twenty meters. Once the bolt removal action occurs, the device will immediately transmit the message to the monitoring center and automatically alarm.

The variable voltage change sensor detects the voltage change and performs real-time online analysis. The wall-mounted vibration sensor monitors the situation of people and vehicles around the protection by vibration to achieve the purpose of preventing intrusion; the buried sensor is also an anti-intrusion device; the line fault sensor is mainly used for medium and high voltage transmission and distribution lines, which can detect short circuit and Ground Fault.

Perception of the environment. Wind speed and direction sensor, sensor for temperature and ambient temperature and humidity. These instruments ensure the normal operation of the transmission line by monitoring the meteorological environment of the transmission line, including temperature, humidity, wind speed and the inclination of some towers.

Networking scheme, power transmission and distribution dip measurement, using multiple types of sensors to achieve comprehensive judgment of faults.

The product and application system of the electricity link mainly includes an intelligent wind front management system, which is installed on the electric meter to prevent the self-disassembly and assembly of the electric meter.

Outdoor terminals are monitored. If the temperature difference between day and night in the environment where the detection system is located is relatively large and the air is humid, condensation will be generated. Our system can detect condensation and alarm in real time.

Intelligent locks, for the current terminal box locks in the substation, do not uniformly develop locks, so that a physical key can be used to realize the function of a logical key to open a unique logic lock. The working principle of the intelligent lock mainly includes these parts: the management module of the smart lock, the network intelligent lock of the sensor and the smart key.

Application of transmission links. It is mainly a monitoring system for cable and cable tunnels. The system monitors the temperature, humidity and harmful gases of the cable to monitor the fan and pump system. The terminal accessories also include temperature measurement light.
