The contestants who participated in the competition are:
YAMAHA 03D and Roland RSS M380 digital mixer from Japan
Mackie 1604 analog mixer from the US and Presonus StudioLive 24.4.4 digital mixer
A&H PA12 analog mixer from the UK
For the sake of fairness, the game uses the SHURE BETA58 microphone audition and the active monitor speakers for my recording. The content of the game is limited to the performance of the microphone sound, and does not involve other functional competitions.

In the first round of competition, YAMAHA's 03D sound was clear, but the low frequency ductility was insufficient, the high frequency was a little hairy, and the dynamic response was poor. When the big dynamic shouted, there was a blockage, and the overall feeling was rough.
The RSS M380 sounds soft, the low frequency is full and thick, and the mid-high frequency performance is quite satisfactory. There is no special highlight. The dynamic response is good, it is easy to enter the wheat, and in the case of loud shouting, there is no blocking phenomenon.

Comments: YAMAHA 03D is an old-fashioned digital mixing console . It is not equipped with a PM series analog mixer on this platform . It should be a cheaper device through sound performance, so the sound is more expressive. Lack of, at the same time, the dynamic range of the speech is not enough, when the large signal input, it is easy to produce blocking distortion.
Roland's M380 is a relatively new product. The style maintains Roland's softer style. The dynamic range of the local phone design should be relatively large. This may be due to Roland's redesign as a feature of the live sound reinforcement. I think it's bigger than the dynamics on its regular sound card.
In the second round, the same comparison method was used, and the RSS M380 was played by PreSouns StudioLive 24.4.2.
Through the game, I found that the sound contour of Presonus is clear, but the sound is a cool type compared with the M380, especially the performance of the medium and high frequency. It is a bit overly flamboyant, more flamboyant, and the low frequency performance is hard but slightly thin, but this style For the characteristics of current popular music and electronic music, personally think that it complements each other. In contrast, the M380 is a bit conservative, somewhat blunt, but the overall sound is more detailed than the PreSonus, perhaps the M380 is more suitable for the expression of serious music. However, these two tables did not appear to be blocked when the microphone was at a high volume, indicating that the dynamic range of the speech is well designed, and the transient response is good, and it is relatively clean and tidy.

Comments: Presonus is a company specializing in the development of digital audio software hardware. I personally think that this should be a relatively young and fashionable company. Their products give people a strong sense of the times. Roland is a company that is a digital music product. It may be more comprehensive about the characteristics of various music, which may be relatively conservative. The current round of the two is due to the difference in the style of the two or the direction of the designer's pursuit of the two, can not be judged high.
The third round was contested by Mackie 1604 and M380.
The results of this round of competition are quite different. The performance of mackie is stable, the basic skills are solid, the voice is not in a hurry, and it is stable and steady. But compared with the M380, the sound looks a bit old and the energy is not enough. In terms of dynamics, mackie feels that the dynamic range is larger, and the sound transitions well when the signal is large. When the M380 is in a large signal, although there is no blocking feeling, the sound becomes a little rough and the transition is not smooth. Because mackie is a full analog configuration, the roundness of the sound is better than the M380. The sound of the M380 is younger and more energetic than the 1604. Although it is more conservative than presonus, it is not stable enough with MACKIE. In addition, MACKIE's voice is more tough, muscles are strong, ROLAND is more charming, and the sense of exquisiteness is stronger. In contrast, the individual feels that the voice of MACKIE should be easier to control as a tuner.

Comments: My 1604 was originally produced in the United States in the early years. The early mackie had its own unique features in the design of the speech, and after years of market beats and tests, it has a deep understanding of the application of sound reinforcement and recording, although 1604 is not a top product, but the sound style is a very pure MACKIE taste. Although Roland has made great achievements in the field of digital music, I think they should lack some experience in sound reinforcement products compared to those in Europe and America. However, MACKIE has been slightly tired in recent years, and the product quality seems to be reduced. If ROLAND is further developed, there should be room for transcendence. This round determines that MACKIE wins, mainly considering that its sound is easier to control.
The last round was challenged by A&H PA12 RSS M380
In fact, this is an unequal game, PA12 as an entry-level product of A&H, the quality is not high, anyway, idle, no problem, just try it.
No better than not knowing, one knows all!
The sound of PA12 is like a cotton curtain. The middle and high frequency can't be opened, the low frequency contour is unclear, the overall sound lacks the details, and it is still dry and singing hard, but the overall expression of the sound is relatively complete. If you compare it with the entry-level products of the YAMAHA MG MC series, the PA12 will win.

Comments: The effect is all piled up, this is the same reason. As an entry-level product, PA12 will inevitably not use higher technology and higher cost devices, and the sound is not good.
