At the meeting, Zheng Tiemin submitted the proposal of “Developing Optoelectronic Industry and Building an Energy-Saving City†and actively offered suggestions for promoting the economic and social development of Weifang.

In the proposal, Zheng Tiemin suggested that the government introduce a series of support policies such as industrial policy, financial subsidies and government procurement in the optoelectronics industry. Through the guidance of the above industrial policies and consumption policies, we will strive to achieve 40% illumination of urban residents using LED lighting and integration within five years. 20% and 6% of the electricity used for electricity consumption comes from solar energy, and Weifang is built into a well-known “optical city†and “energy-saving city†in China.
