Japan's NTT Photonics orders Ai Siqiang MOCVD system for laser research

Germany's Acetron has announced that its existing customer, NTT Photonics, Japan, has ordered a MOCVD system for its CCS reactor for the study of indium phosphide (InGaAsP) quaternary diode lasers. The order was received in the second quarter of 2011 and the reactor will be delivered in the first quarter of 2012.

Axon's new reactors for NTT Photonics will feature a number of special features including EpiCurveTT, ARGUS, Gap Adjustment and the Epison 4 Online Gas Concentration Monitor. Another important factor in the choice of CCS reactors for NTT Photonics is its superior nitrogen-based production efficiency, which means significant reductions in operating costs.

With its sprinkler technology and uniform flow distribution, Atheros' CCS reactors offer excellent processing flexibility for the most demanding MOCVD applications. Combined with the gap adjustment function and the ARGUS integrated pedestal temperature distribution monitoring function, it has become the best tool for research and development of high-tech equipment such as InGaAsP quaternary diode laser.
