Win10 Preview: Allows users to uninstall pre-installed software

Tencent Digital (Wen Xin) According to TechRadar website, does it dislike certain software that Windows 10 preinstalls? The software is actually Microsoft's bloated software, but the good news is that a preview version of Windows 10 provides the ability to uninstall a number of pre-installed software, and this ability will soon appear in the official version.

The latest Windows 10 preview version (version 14936) activated some system software uninstall buttons. Previously these software uninstall buttons were grayed out and could not be clicked, but now users can uninstall the software by clicking a button instead of using complex workarounds as they have in the past.

According to the Ghacks website, users can now uninstall five of Microsoft's default software: Mail and Calendar, Calculator, Groove Music, Maps, and Weather.

TechRadar said that this feature should appear in the next update package for Windows 10. At that time, users should be able to uninstall more software. Obviously, some software is Microsoft will never allow users to uninstall, Cortana voice assistant is one of them - although the user can close it.

To uninstall the above software, users need to select "Settings"->"System"->"Apps & Features", select the software to be uninstalled, and then click the Uninstall button.

TechRadar said that in the preview version of version 14926, Microsoft has also made a change that users have loudly demanded: When Windows 10 installs update packages, the system will no longer annoyingly reinstall previously uninstalled software. But to be honest, Windows 10 should be like this from the beginning.
