How to play the new desert map in the game of chicken? Raiders come

[PConline Game Raiders] Jedi has officially launched its 1.0 version, and one of the most talked-about updates is the desert map. Many players are excited about this new environment, while others are still figuring out which old maps to play. Of course, there's a fresh gameplay experience, and it's time to upgrade your skills. If you're unsure how to get started, check out what I have to share about Raiders.

About the New Map:

The Miramar map is one of the most significant updates in PUBG, offering a more open and dynamic playing field. The ocean area has been reduced, making the land area larger than before, which gives players the impression that the map feels bigger. This change makes vehicles even more crucial in the game. Without the right vehicle, you might find yourself stuck in a toxic zone or unable to escape quickly. Resources are now more spread out, so finding the right vehicle should be your top priority when landing. Additionally, the choice of vehicle matters more due to the increased differences between on-road and off-road performance. For example, a van may not be suitable for off-road terrain due to its limited power.

The new map also offers a wider field of view, which can be challenging for players used to shorter-range combat. Long-distance battles will become more common, so practicing long-range shooting is essential if you want to secure a win. Improving your accuracy at a distance could make a big difference in your gameplay.

About New Weapons:

Three exclusive weapons have been introduced in the desert map, each with unique characteristics that can give you an edge in battle.

R45

Positioning: Short-range sniper rifle

This weapon is fully refreshed and uses .45 caliber ammunition, holding up to six bullets. It can be equipped with a red dot sight. Compared to R1895, the R45 offers higher accuracy, faster reload speed, and lower difficulty, but it has less power and is not ideal for direct fire. In early-game scenarios with many players in the landing zone, the R45 can serve as a short-range sniper, allowing you to take down enemies with headshots effectively.

Win94

Positioning: Overused sniper rifle

The Win94 is a manually reloaded revolver that fires slowly, making it unsuitable for close combat. It doesn’t support any attachments, so long-range accuracy depends entirely on the player’s skill. However, its power is impressive—headshots can instantly kill even players wearing a Class 2 helmet. The high refresh rate and faster firing speed compared to 98k make it a good choice for players who prefer to snipe from a distance in resource-poor areas.

Sawed-Off

Positioning: Close-range combat weapon

The Sawed-Off is a shotgun that holds 12 rounds of 12-gauge ammunition. It cannot be equipped with any accessories, and its spread is wide, but it can fire two shots in quick succession. This makes it more powerful than regular shotguns in certain situations. While it’s not ideal for long-range fights, it’s perfect for close-quarters combat and can be carried easily without worrying about running out of ammo.

DP-28

Positioning: Team fire suppression

The DP-28 is a light machine gun that works best when kneeling. Its front tripod helps reduce recoil, allowing for stable fire. However, when moving or standing, the recoil becomes too strong, making it hard to control. It’s best used by team members who can provide sustained fire support during team fights.

AUGA3

Positioning: Chicken artifact

The AUGA3 is a rare assault rifle obtained via airdrop. It uses 5.56mm ammunition and has a 30-round magazine (expandable to 40). One of its biggest advantages is its near-zero recoil, allowing for accurate shooting from any position. It supports muzzle attachments, grips, and suppressors, making it a versatile weapon. In late-game scenarios, the AUGA3 can significantly increase your chances of securing a victory.

About New Vehicles:

Van

Positioning: Mobile bunker

The Van is a six-seater vehicle ideal for team travel. Despite its slower speed, its high durability makes it a safe option for escaping danger. It acts like a mobile bunker, allowing players to retreat quickly after an attack.

Pickup

Positioning: Off-road vehicle

The Pickup is a four-seater off-road vehicle with excellent climbing capabilities, perfect for navigating the rough terrain of Miramar. It's similar to a jeep, but it consumes more fuel.

Aquarail

Positioning: Fast and flexible

The Aquarail is a two-person jet ski with a top speed of 90 km/h. It's fast, stable, and difficult to hit with some practice. The rear seat can also fire, making it a great choice for guerrilla-style attacks.

About Gameplay Updates:

This update brings a more realistic feel to the game, including improved bullet physics. The game now features bullet resistance, affecting trajectory and reducing speed over time. Players must adjust their aim accordingly, especially when shooting at long distances. The scope system has also been updated, with different sights depending on the enemy's distance.

The removal of large jumps and the introduction of a climbing system add more depth to the gameplay. Now, players can access previously unreachable areas, increasing the risk of being ambushed. Those who like to hide in houses need to be more alert to sounds behind them. With the climbing system, every building is no longer safe, balancing the difficulty of attack and defense. However, remember that you can't fire while climbing, so always ensure you’re in a safe spot before attempting to climb over walls.
