Global electric vehicle sales ranking

Recently, the University of California, Davis released a compilation of data reports that as of last year, the global electric vehicle market has sold three million cumulative sales for three years. The United States topped the sales volume of 200,000, followed by Japan ranked second, China third, and the Netherlands ranked fourth.

The report shows that as of June this year, the United States has cumulatively sold about 227,000 electric vehicles. Since the data statistics began in 2010, the United States has accounted for about 45% of the world's total sales of electric vehicles.

According to statistics from overseas agencies, in the US in June 2014, a total of 4,982 pure electric vehicles were sold, an increase of 10.2% year-on-year. In the first half of the year, 25844 vehicles were sold, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year; 6,011 plug-in hybrid vehicles were sold in June, A significant increase of 32.3% was achieved, with cumulative sales of 54973 vehicles in the first half of the year, a surge of 35.1% year-on-year.

At the same time, the top-selling list of electric vehicles in North America from January to June 2014 has also been released. Nissan LEAF was ranked first in terms of cumulative sales in the first half of the year, with a total of 12,736 units sold from January to June; the largest increase was Chevrolet SPARK Electric Cars increased by 2255.6% from January to June.
